Had HRC won three states Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin as she was expected to in addition to what she won, she would have reached the 270 electoral votes. But Pennsylvania does not require its electors to pledge to vote according to popular election results. 21 states do not have such a law, but 29 do. http://archive.fairvote.org/?page=967
Considering that Hillary will probably win the popular vote by 2 million when all ballots are counted and will win by a margin of 2.0%, a consideration should be made to change the electoral votes.
If that is totally unfeasible, then a national debate should ensue as to the validity and use of the electoral college system. What do you think?
